A massive, 215m (700′) pier was re-built as part of the ¬†redevelopment of the Burrard Shipyards site in North Vancouver, BC into a recreational amenity for the city. In collaboration with Durante Kreuk Landscape Architects, we designed the new pier deck, site furnishings, lighting, viewing platforms, event foci, and other ¬†components for the project.
A palette of materials and forms were chosen to retain the original lexicon of shipbuilding fabrication.
